For my own language study, I’m going to read Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s/Sorcerer’s Stone in English, then in Spanish, and on in descending order of my abilities. By the time I get to the bottom of the list, it’ll be summer and retirement and I can abet my reading with plenty of other study. It’s kind of like what Kato Lomb recommends, just reading even if you don’t understand most of it and keep reading it over and over but stuff you already know about to provide more context. I’ll let you know how it turns out in about a year.
