People don’t understand the purpose of Common Core or of testing in general. The idea is to keep people fearful and cautious. You tie health care insurance to the job, you tell kids they have to score higher on tests. You keep everyone in state of anxiety, the better to control them. People just don’t understand that that is what all this conservative effort is about, from the Koch Bro who just want to get rid of unions and regulations to the patriarch who wants his kids taught religion in school. CC promotes crativity? And what happens when the scores don’t come out high enough?……… and they never will. The creativity is submerged in a flurry of test-prep activities b/c the kid will be held back, the teacher and the principal fired, and the parents shamed. Thank you, conservatives.
