Just now I looked up the section in my book on Icelandic that concerns middle voice. This book was cited in a work on middle voice and I realized I had it on my shelf and could read the info for myself. The first example of m.v. was klað with the morphological ending –sk from the reflexive pronoun. What it brought to mind, however, was the links to German Kleid = dress and English clad. That is probably the reason I study only I-E languages.
