OBSERVATION:
The Nigerian doctor my wife sees was telling her that people treat her one way until she opens her mouth and they realize she is not an African-American. That proves my point exactly: it is not the skin color that is the issue; it is, as in everything, the RELATIONSHIP. American Blacks were the slaves and Whites were the masters and that is the relationship and it has nothing to do with Blacks from outside the U.S. Why people don’t see this and keep blathering on about “I don’t see color.” is beyond me.
