I’ve moved from the pool to dry land with my new set of exercises last night. They are the same as in the pool: ski, squat thrusts, jumping jacks, gopak = one legged squats. I did only two sets, not five, and I’m glad I cut it short. They do work the body! I may go back for 5 today or wait until tomorrow for my body to catch up with this new stress. But it’s very exciting, promising to tighten up my body and prepare it for heavier lifting.
In January I make a March appointment for my knee follow-up.
Dec. 31. I did the full five sets today with no difficulty. My pulse at the end of 124, pretty much the target my doctor set for me. Now I’m more excited.
