What prompted this was a Bob Hope joke referring to Jane Russell, whose bosom was much talked about. The joke went, “Describe Jane Russell without using your hands.” Probably not much appreciated in the age of #Me Too. She was exceptional, esp when she slipped into bed beside the cowboy shivering with fever in order to warm him up. I got warmed up just watching her. That movie, The Outlaw, came out in 1946 when I was 5, so I probably so it later.
