Yoga and Body Pump

A few weeks ago I took the plunge and started yoga. Fortunately I seem to have found an excellent instructor. One lady said she has done yoga for years and Liisa is one of the best. My son, a yoga enthusiast for several decades, says he’ll come to class one day with me.
The results of the yoga were immediately apparent. Walking is more fluid and without effort. Also, my body is tightening a bit, something I’ve been looking for.
To that end, I followed a fellow class member’s advice and tried Body Pump. It took me 3 tries to find an instructor I like. Since I was still recovering from surgery, I used very light weights – Body Pump is light weights and lots of reps. Now that I’ve found an instructor I like and seem fully recovered from the surgery, I’ll start adding weight. I will report on the results.
