One is the slippery slope to allowing states to ban contraception, make interracial marriage against the law, outlaw gay marriage, prevent the treatment of transgendered youth, disallow sex assignment contrary to birth certificate data, discriminate against homosexuals, and………. gee, what else?
OTOH, the camel’s nose may be the first breach in the Union, making a new parlor game of which state secedes first and what does the federal government do?
