I will have toreturn to this entry often. I am perturbed by comments from people who know better.
Example1: Richard Haas saying that Trump’s allocation of government jobs will upset things. John Heilman shot back with accuracy: “their” goal isn’t to take over the government, it’s to destroy it.
Example 2: several pundits claiming it’ll be impossible for Trump to deport eleven million people. He doesn’t have to. All need happen is for Fox to broadcast video of a couple of Mexican families being roughly shoved back into Mexico and the MAGA crowd won’t even notice that their yard guy still shows up and their favorite Mexican restaurant hasn’t changed its menu.
5 minutes later: sure enough: Dr. Patel is back, which I love, but Sam Stein told her that being surprised that nominating Robert F. Kennedy Jr. to head the nation’s health care services is like being surprised that “the leopard ate your face.”
